Music is an art of divinity.While some are gifted with melodious voice,some are gifted with enormous talent.MANDA KRISHNA MOHAN is one of the rare artists gifted with both melodious voice and enormous talent.Born on 31st march , M.KRISHNA MOHAN grew up as an artist at a very tender age under the able guidance of his father and guru late.Sri.M.L.NARASIMHAM ( and mother smt.M.V.SUBBALAXMI .He was fully brought up in musical environment as his father was famous "SANGEETHA VIDVAN" and cine play back singer.Late SRI NARASIMHAM had rendered services at AIR ,visakhapatnam as staff artist .Learning music at an early stage being miracle .krishna mohan started performing classical programmes at a very tender age of 10.With in a very short span of time ,he completed Diploma in Music from andhra university in 1982 ,and sangeetha praveena titled course from s.v. university and also completed his P.G in M.A from Andhra university.
Being an enormously talented artist ,he won several prizes and awards through the competetions held by various institutions and academics .In 1977 ,he won state first in music competetions conducted by Baalala Academy N also received the visakha music academy award. He was felicitated with the title BALA GANDHARVA " in 1982 by kalahasthi devasthnam -bhaktha brundam and" MADHURAGANASARASWATHI" in 1989 by sri natya kala nilayam . He received prestigious " M.S. SUBBA LAKSMMI " Award in 2017 and " The BEST TEACHER Award from Andhra Pradesh Government through honble ChIef Minister in 2017 and prestigious " UGADI " puraskar of Government of Andhra Pradesh in 2017. he has been performing various programmes in Classical and Light music Since 30 years from AIR,DOORA DARSAN , ALL OTHER CHANNELS and at places all over india and abroad. He visited 18 countries till now and having number of students In and Abroad. Presently he is working as vocal lecturer in government music college ,vijayawada Since 36 years.While on one side of the coin he is an excellent stage artist .With all his experience since 36 years as lecturer ,he raised to his of great reverence. Manda Krishna Mohan has his own style of composing music which he outletted by his compositions for A.I.R,and Dance Ballets like JAGADANANDAKARAKA n SWAMI VIVEKANANDA ,TRIDHARA n RAMARAMAM , LEELA KRISHNAM, ARISHADVARGALU. LAKSMI NARASIMHA, LAVA KUSA, ANNAMAYYA, PADMAVATHI KALYANAM, KADHAKELI, CHENCHU LAKSHMI ETC. He also rendered his melodious voice for various devotional commercial cassettes. He also wrote books on karnatic music named '' SANGEETA SADHANA SUDHA'' SWARA SUDHA BODHINI, JAGADANANDAKARAKA AND AUDIO CASSETS FOR SANGEETA SADHANA SUDHA-CERTIFICATE N DIPLOMA COURSES ,MANODHARMA SANGEETAM, CERT-DIPLOMA THEORY ON AUDIO FOR THE FIRST TIME. TRIKALA SADHANA AND LISTEN TO LEARN 72 MELAKARTAS ARE HIS LATEST ALBUMS FOR MUSIC LEARNERS.
COUNTRIES VISITED: U.S.A, PARIS, CANADA ,DUBAI , ENGLAND, SOUTH AMERICA , KUWAIT, LONDON, MALASIA, SINGAPORE, GERMANY, AUSTRELIA, etc,.
